ACTIVITIES TO DO AT HOME: Please check your child’s Reading Responses to ensure the question was answered daily. Remind your child to include evidence from the text to support the given answers. Remind your child to check over their writing to make sure it makes sense and that there are capitals and punctuation marks in the correct places. Students reflect on what they have learned so far to help them design their systems, identifying evaporation and condensation as processes that can distill freshwater from salt water. Students work in groups to brainstorm solutions and then work in groups of four to consolidate ideas and build solutions to test. ACTIVITIES TO DO AT HOME: Look for news stories about climate change and ask your child possible causes and solutions.
